SBCA Announces Foundation Grants are Being Accepted
Who can apply? Grants will be made to eligible non-profit organizations on behalf of the individual and/or company involved. Requests will be accepted from any individual or company within the industry. The Foundation is particularly interested in projects that focus on:
- Needs of at-risk populations such as the homeless, hungry, children, veterans or similar groups
- Rural and disadvantaged communities where satellite video and data services provide a vital link to information, education and entertainment programming
- Organizations supporting populations where English is a second language
- Areas that have experienced a natural or other disaster
If you are involved with an organization that focuses on these issues, submit your application or behalf of the organization. As a rule, Grants will range between $1,000 and $5,000 on a one-time basis.
When can I apply? Now! Applications will be accepted until February 1st, 2012.
