SBCA Foundation Awards Grant to Tumor Research
The SBCA Foundation donated $10,000 to Angels Among Us to help in the fight against brain cancer. The day raised over $2,000,000. Since its founding in 1994, over 12 million dollars has been donated to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke from Angels Among Us. Read full story.

SBCA 2013 Annual Report
SBCA has doubled its membership in less than four years, expanded its education and membership offerings and has established a track record of major successes on tax issues and other legislative efforts. SBCA has become an effective advocate for the consumer satellite television and broadband industry. Our focus moving forward is to fight hard to protect our industry from illegal and burdensome restrictions on satellite dish placement, and unfair taxation of satellite delivered video and broadband. SBCA Members - Commit to Hire Veterans and Military Spouses
SBCA has committed to promote the hiring of 4,000 qualified veterans and military spouses into the consumer satellite industry by 2014 as part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Hiring Our Heroes program. The commitment is part of the "Hiring 500,000 Heroes" campaign, an initiative launched in March by the U.S. Chamber, National Chamber Foundation, and Capital One. The goal is to secure commitments from businesses throughout America to hire a half million veterans and military spouses by the end of 2014. Learn how you can be apart of this effort.
