SBCA SMATV Certification holders are trained in the theory of satellite television systems and its applications to analog satellite master antenna television (SMATV) systems.

To receive SBCA SMATV Certification, you must successfully complete the following online activities:

DRE Plus is designed for Lodging and Institutions properties wishing to have the advantages of DRE and a managed solution. Dealers who will be selling and installing DRE Plus will need D2 Advantage Edition 2 certification and must take the DRE classroom course which is offered through their approved DIRECTV distributor. DRE Plus certification is NOT available online.

DRE is an in-room receiver solution for low budget hotels and healthcare institutions which do not need the extra features of a managed system. With the capability to provide up to 100 HD channels and an interactive HD guide the cost is lower without the management system equipment, providing an affordable advantage to properties that don’t need the managed features.
